THOMAS B. KOMER

Since 1972, Mr. Komer has been a consultant specializing in strategic planning, sales and marketing, and sales and sales management training, primarily for high-tech industries with particular focus on information systems providers. For the first eight of those years, he was Vice President of Development for Tratec, Inc., a publicly-held consulting and training company in Los Angeles, CA, and President of Trate International, headquartered in London, UK. When McGraw-Hill acquired Tratec in 1979, Mr. Komer started his own consultancy, EXECON LTD, which continues to the present. EXECON is located in Mooresville, NC, a suburb of Charlotte.

Mr. Komer works with a variety of high-tech enterprises including information systems manufacturers, software developers, telecommunications providers, medical device manufacturers and small, independent resellers of information technology products and services. He has served as a director on the boards of public and private companies.

Prior to his consultancy activities, Mr. Komer was field systems analyst, sales representative and regional systems manager for Scientific Data Systems which became part of Xerox Corporation in 1969. He was a programmer and applied mathematician in the aerospace industry prior to these experiences.

He holds a B.S. in Mathematics from St. John's University, NY, and has completed extensive graduate business studies in Finance.
